| subject: | Parakeet bites cage bars |
I have 2 parakeets, both are new, one 2 weeks newer than the other. This
newer one has started going around biting on the bars of the cage. This
bugs me for 2 reasons. One, is this a sign she's unhappy and wants out?
Two, the cage I got for both of them is pretty big. The bars arent as
close together as the first cage and it seems when she really wants to
go at it, she does her best to push her head through...which she
successfully does at times. The other one doesnt try any of this....but
the new one is driving me crazy because I feel like I constantly have to
watch her to make sure she doesnt hang herself.
Any suggestions?
