Does ASP.NET v2 work with .NET v2? I thought .NET v2 is not out yet. Am I wrong?

I'm supposed to help someone with their web site that uses ASP.NET. Before going over
there I want to figure out what ASP.NET version they are running. They do not know.
Is there an easy way to find out?

Also, is there an easy way to determine what versions of .NET CLR are installed on a
machine?
