Well, it was either laugh at the situation and be realistic about keeping
up with everything in the house myself, or figure what's the real horror if
things don't get done so fast? :)  That "rule" works wonders
..

Hey, I have two black labs :)  They are rambunctious, but SO lovable! They
were a real handful when they were young, too.. I was amazed how relatively
"calm" they got after they were 2 years old .. but they
do still get crazy some days :)

Good idea - over here we have a fenced in yard for the Labs.. if we didn't,
I'm afraid they'd get loose and hit by a car..they are SO stupid
sometimes.. We did lose one that way when we were living in Louisville, and
it hurt so much

Yep.. very true.

Just don't hold it against them if they reject the help :)  Sometimes a
person may have a good reason to try to do things themselves :)
