For example a car repair in my jurisdiction is supposed to be guaranteed for 3 months, same thing for a plumber who repairs a pipe, etc. However, MS was allowed to get away with the little fine print denying any responsibility for the failure of their software to do the job or damage other equipement. Had they been nailed from the outset, I'm of the opinion we would have had really great software today, instead of the mickymousing we have to endure now! Mike **** ... Well I defragged my TV and went all the way back to basic cable! --- Blue Wave/DOS v2.30* Origin: Juxtaposition BBS, Telnet:juxtaposition.dynip.com (1:167/133) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 167/133 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
