! Same here! I've four brothers, one sister. One older bro and my
sister, I'm the uh runt.. :) Another bro three years younger than ten
years later in their mid to late thirties, our parents must have had a
crazy moment (4 *teens* not enough? )- and had my two youngest
brothers, three years apart.

What do you make of the of birth order studies? I am skeptical.
There's just so much involved with nature/nurture it's kinda doubtful
we can safely draw any valid singular conclusions. But oh it can be
fun to discuss generalities based on observation or our own
experiences?

I think it's a given generally depending on personality the eldest
of tne takes a 'leadership role' and is usually the most spoiled. But
I've seen cases of the youngest being the most spoiled. As said a lot
has to do with all very complicated family dynamics.

In my family the most motivated achievers turned out to be the two
youngest. The four older sibs were expected to follow the family
business. But the business closed when the two youngest were in their
late teens so they didn't get the same pressure us older ones did.
