TK> -> would I call either the Seattle Times or the Los Angeles Times, both
of
TK> whom
TK> -> just reported the latest findings on dopamine receptors and all kinds
TK> of
TK> -> addictions, as such.
TK> No one is saying anything of the sort. The only problem anyone
TK> has trouble with is, the idea that food allergies are the sole cause
TK> of ADHD. Almost all the research I have seen agree with fact that
TK> the major factor in ADHD/ADD is with either dopamine production,
TK> or dopamine uptake through the rectors.
Are you also aware that a remedial diet will increase the amount of dopamine
receptors? And that this has been known for some time now?
Are you also aware that back in the 1930's when the Big Book of A.A. was
written that the prevailing theory was that alcoholism is the result of food
allergies? And that all of the later research was to either support that
theory or to bebunk it?
We have known about food allergies much longer than we have known about
anything else in diets, and, the effects of the food allergies are such that
we can easily relate cause and effect if we get hives after eating berries.
What we don't relate very well are the cerebral effects of the allergies
which are not as easy to learn.
TK> Ohh now Jane, we all know that you are capable of thinking for
TK> yourself.
For that I can thank some of my Stuart ancestors!
