| subject: | RE: EleBBS: Drop files using EleBBS Telnet |
* EleBBS Support List Hi Mike Thanks for the help - when I grabbed the latest binaries from the site you mentioned and I ran it, everything started working great and the drop files started to appear in the correct spots. Any ideas where I can get some documentation on the IRC and TELNET services available in EleBBS? Last time I setup a BBS was using RA 2.50 many years ago. Thanks again! It should work fine with telsrv.exe, so I suspect there is some other reason. Do you have the RA or ELE environment variable defined under Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables > System Variables? I.E.: RA=C:\ELE (there should not be a trailing slash) To make sure they are defined, open a new command prompt and type "set" and see if at least one of those variables is defined. Another possibility is that you may have multiple CONFIG.RA files, and the one in C:\ELE does not have the right node path.
