This isn't a Braves thing or any individual team thing.  Most of the
umpiring points made here have been valid.  The fact is that major
league umpiring, namely behind the plate, has depreciated to an all-time
low.  I honestly feel that if an editor could take the time to splice up
some of the calls that were made and show them to these high and mighty
umpires that maybe they would get the message.
 
The ALCS ended on a controversial call when Roberto Alomar was almost
beheaded on a high and inside pitch which was called strike three.  It
just doesn't surprise me anymore and its starting to make me lose more
and more interest in baseball.
