Hello Paul,

LL>> The last time it was nodelisted was 2 AUG 2016
 LL>> That would be nodelist.215

 PQ> And it's still there.

Of course. As would be expected, assuming the entity known
as Andrew Leary did have a node of 1:320/219 at that time.

PQ> There is no removal directive in nodelists.

Why should there be?

PQ> Only in what are called DIFFerence script files.

That is not what is of interest.

PQ> Most of us don't use diff files any more, preferring to just use fresh
 PQ> issues of already-updated nodelists.

Much more convenient, and less time-consuming to do things that way.
After all, that is the only one that really counts. Right?

PQ> OTOH, I see from my own node's history that the searches essentially turn
up
PQ> difference entries where some minor change has occurred. Fascinating.

I can see how a sysop can dick with other sysops heads with that.
Might get them to think they are seeing things that aren't really
there. Such as a tiny blue unicorn with wings sitting on a sysop's
hat.

However, back to the chase.

Making things too obvious would take away all of the fun.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck,
then it probably is a duck.

But let's not dress up in full costume, as hunting season is near.

LL>> In reference to the 337:1/21 node -
 LL>> Node not found.

PQ> Zone 337 is not Fidonet. The search site only does Fido. Not riff-raff.

And yet the nonentity wishing to be known as Andrew Leary elisted
the Fidonews using that node on 4 Feb 2017. Which tells me the
gatekeeper has a problem counting numbers.

LL>> This is all according to the very same site you cited.

PQ> A mighty fine one it is. You're welcome.

Still have yet to find those blue unicorns with it. But I know
they're there ...

LL>> Amazing what you find when trying to verify facts, isn't it?

PQ> Name searches are good fun for mild entertainment. :-D

Also number searches for the mathematically impaired.
