I've had the Digifossil author in this from the start!!! He ran some tests
and when he learned that all the other software I mentioned worked fine with
Digifossil he came to the conclusion that it was in fact Maximus that was the
problem!!! The fact that the other software requires a fossil and it worked
fine with great transfer rates supports the conclusion that the Dos Maximus
isn't making the necessary calls to work with a digiboard instead of a
modem!!! His final conclusion was "Not all software will work with his Fossil
because not all software follow the standard in Fossil Protocol & Interupt
routines"!!! I have forwarded a copy of your message to the author of
Digifossil with the hope of between the 3 of us maybe we can determine the
problem and solve it!!! The problem with this idea is that in order for him
to determine where in Maximus the routines separate from the fossil he would
have to look at the source code of Maximus, wouldn't he??? Do you have a list
of Calls that Maximus uses that I can forward to him to compare with his
fossil??? Is that a reasonable request???
