-> MP> Non-sequitur. The "fact" that the public school system is "so well MP>

-> EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT!
->
-> The mystique that the schools, combined with that of the lousy "mental

-> Incidently, the superintendant of our local school district called me

-> I think this man may possibly be one outstanding exception to the status

Bravo Jane, seems that you have gotten your point across. If I may though
ask,
how did the Superintendant know to contact you? I know it couldn't have been
just the voting no. Did you also attend meetings? Did you stand up, and
ell
them your feelings? If that is the case, I would say that the voting no,
nly
worked to get their attention, it also took you being strong enough in your
conviction that you were not affraid to let others know your feelings.
Unfortunately, all this could have been avoided if the School Board had asked
for public opinion, and if the public had been more forthcomming with their
feelings on the issue. Once again the only ones who were hurt by the whole
ordeal were the children.
