-> really want a Scarlett Macaw or an African Grey. Can anyone tell me
-> if an African Grey and a Cockatoo could get along in the same cage?
Although I don't really know for sure...I would think that each bird
should have it's own home that is its own private space...especially the
larger birds. I have 4 Budgies, a Cockatiel, a Green-Cheeked Conure,
and a Timneh Grey. My Grey would NEVER consent to sharing his special
place with another bird, but maybe that's because he (and all of my
birds), are spoiled. My Cockatiel does share her cage with a Budgie,
but that was only supposed to be a temporary arrangement while the
Budgie was a baby, but they got used to being with each other.
Let me know what you find out as it is an interesting idea. I guess if
the birds were young enough they wouldn't know the difference. I have a
mini-rabbit that shares her cage with a male guinea pig and they really
love each other.
Blessings,
