I personally liked the second one better ... but then I was looking more
at how well I made the second block in comparison to the first one which I
felt was very uneven in the making... isn't it wonderful that each of us can
preceive things so very differently! Makes for many different quilts that is
for sure!!!!

Your classes sound like a lot of fun! There are any number of classes I
would enjoy taking that is for sure! But that is only in my dreams anymore.
That I was able to get the Pergamano class in was a big blessing!!!!
I have a bunch of sewing to get going on here in the next few days... I
just committed myself to making 50 12 1/2" quilt blocks for a swap on the
internet.. and these will be a "rush" job... the deadline is the 9th of
September... I got into this knowing that the deadline was just around the
corner... but I work well under that kind of pressure for the most part.

I love new books!!!! Seems I have to many already!!!! However they do get
used and read over and over again... and I would never consider getting rid
of any craft related magazines... and I have some that are now going on 30
years old... and I find myself going back to these from time to time for
ideas... The bigger problem is "Where do I put these books and such?????"
I know you are going to have loads of fun with these embellishments...
