I believe people here are talking about "power" as _you_
erroneously perceive it Ward, not as we perceive it (Robert's reference to
'real or not'). That is what I was agreeing with in my reply to Robert.
While it's true you really can't 'do' anything (such as retake the position
of IC which is why I think we should just put you in our collective TWIT
FILTERS) when you did have the position of IC, you attempted to flaunt what
power you _thought_ you had such as:
1 - Attempting to remove a node who registered a domain name you wanted
(The IC and a ZC have no such authority under policy 4)
2 - Refusing to acknowledge a decision by the majority of ZCs in a policy
complaint
(The IC has no such authority under policy 4)
3 - Redefining sections of policy which clearly cannont be changed, so that you
could never be removed as IC - and at a time after you'd been removed as IC
(The IC has no such authority under policy 4)
4 - Refusing to acknowledge a vote by a majority of the ZCC to replace you as
IC
5 - Threatening to change the decision made by the ZCC in the Witt/Van der
Vlist case.
(The IC has no such authority under policy 4)
I'm sure if I dredge through enet.sysop I can come up with at least two
lies you posted there in order to influence sysops and RCs. Again.. there
was nothing you could do there but you were intent on maintaining your
position as IC and needed to convince your audience without allowing anyone
to respond to your lies (Yes, even Ron read your lies about him, and was
sickened by them).
So, it's true, you do not have any "power" - that doesn't mean
you acknowledge it :)
Take a break, huh?
Take care,
Janis
