I'm posting them with this packet.

Welcome.

The ones I want to convert to 6m use are single channel and 5 channel Radio
Shack units. One main crystal and a PLL chip on the 5 channels.
The single channel ones are small enough to use as QRP HT's for close-in
conversations you don't want half the world to hear yet still stay legal.
With scanners and a few human repeaters locally it can be a bit too much to
hear something you talked about on simplex being blabbered about on a
epeater
mere minutes after you say it.
RW> Modifying one might be pretty easy if it's big enough to work on. The

They are for some fun on 6m FM and to get a friend a cheapo 6m rig so if
I can get them on some obscure 6m frequency area it will be ok.
RW> That's the high priced radio spectrum. Now if you're going to buy a

Must be anewer version of the ones I have.
The crystal is a fairly common frequency value and the PLL is the same as
one used in an 11m rig. Hey,cheap recycling!
