you're not claiming that every modern historian is a "liberal",
whatever that may be? Or is a "liberal" just anyone to the left
of Genghis Khan?
Maybe all history is bunk in your eyes.
Incidentally, EUrope was actually quite industrialized by the
'forties. Strangely enough, the industrial revolution began there, in
Britain.
