We're using a neat little typing tutor in our middle school lab called
Typing Tutor 6 (now being sold by Que Software). Not too expensive and
it has several nice features - record keeping on student progress,
graphical representation of fingering, several different levels of
practice, and a couple of keyboard games. It also comes with a cute
tutorial on using a mouse, but unfortunately this section of the
software has a memory bug in it and the software crashes after a few
minutes of use. I called tech support, but they were not planning on
repairing the bug despite the fact that they know about it.
