Well, there's that!    Possibly a sextant might not be quite as
effective for airmen as it was for mariners. (Where you had a little
time to wait for an overcast to clear.)
Short term I'd much prefer a GPS of course, but finding an outlet to
plug 'em in to charge the battery could get to be quite a hindrance!
-> Nav.  Then it happened once to me when the NDB at Midway went off the
-> air after ETP.
Ouch!  I'd hate to have to DR to a place as small as Midway in a place
as big as the Pacific ocean!  I should have thought a NDB at a place
like that would have been about triple redundant!  There aint no
landmarks out there!  (I think that's why they call it 'ocean!')
