I wouldnt worry too much here.  Some of us are well traveled as you know,
but ¨yes, most USA folks have never been outside of it.  It's like most
Europeans ¨have probably never been outside Europe.

I've never been to Europe but my impression is it varies in some ways but
other ¨things are a bit of a commonality until you getto the fringe areas
(middle ¨east etc).  Asia and the USA are a bit like that too though there
is more ¨similarity in the states among themselves.  

My impression gleaned from Fidonet, is that northern Europeans tend to
travel a ¨bit more than the other groups with a wider pattern of travel. 
Does that match ¨up?

Yes, result of the mailed Anthrax and the rules that developed then?  I can
get ¨around it easy as I use an FPO AP address, so can mail such things in
¨reasonable types and amounts.  Even then though, I have to check to be
sure.  A ¨canned soda though shouldnt be a problem except they don't travel
well (smile).
