Then, is it "muss cow"?  (or should that last part be 'kuv'?)  

As it is, your use of "tun" and "tone" depends a bit on usage.  

'Washingtonian' does use 'tone' for would would be normaly the 'tun' 
pronunciation.  


I can only guess that you are as confused with English as much as I 
am about Russian!
