Never heard of PIP. Can you use an external editor and/or other external
utilities to support other bases? Adding extra bases would add to the size of
Max (unecessarily as fa as I am concerned :-), and there would be more that
could break or have problems.

I don't know to much about HTML, but isn't that a text-format itself? If so,
why not simply include the screens in your normal Mex/Mecca stuff, like I
include other graphics protocols such as MaxGfx?

With a little thought, this can be done easily, althought I'd like to see a
Yell_External command just like Max's Chat_External option.

I don't believe that ANSI supports mouse movements, so for P&C it'd have to
be in RIP or something that supports the mouse. Either way, if you use ANSI
menus (or even if you don't) HotFlash can be supported easily - just draw up
an extra set of menus (I know, more to keep updated but hey, that's what you
use Max for isn't it? :-)

My system is a distribution hub for several networks, and takes national and
international calls for mail/files. Using Bink as my mailer, Squish as my
tosser, SqaFix and AllFix as my message/file robots, I have a fairly stable
mail system which processes megs of mail daily, and includes automated
maintainance. Maximus is just another program on top of that to allow users
to access the files/mail without using points, and to add access to the games
as well. Max doesn't need anything extra to make hubbing any different from
my end.
This is my last comment in the echo on this thread, since Gary doesn't want
it to continue. Those parts I haven't commented on I either agree with, or
have nothing to say about. Think about what I've said, Set Flames>nul, and
send any replies to me either in netmail or e-mail
(david.chord@cobra.galaxy.gen.nz). I won't reply again in the echo.
Bye..
Dave
