I'd like to see that differently. Every node in fidonet can have made himself 
acquainted with the na-backbone echoes. There is a distinct way of naming 
echoes in that system. All other local systems should imnsho adhere to a 
different naming scheme. We have a zyxel.028 echo overhere, our neighbouring 
country (region 24) uses zyxel.ger. It shouldn't be difficult to name the 
region50 echoes something like zyxel.50 (or whatever they like), but -not- 
zyxel.
Last but not least the hubbing node should take care of not mixing local with 
international echoes.
