Concerning _Ask Dr. Science_, Ivy Iverson said to Troy H. Cheek in UFO:
THC>> Dear Dr. Science,
THC>>
THC>> What do you call a UFO after it has landed?
THC>>
THC>> A "big honker", or a "what in the heck is that?" Contrary to popular
THC>> belief, the IFO, or Identified Flying Object is simply a weather
THC>> balloon or a top secret experimental aircraft. There is no conspiracy
THC>> by the Federal Government to deceive us about the nature of these
THC>> things.
II>
II> ...Another one that's swallowed Uncle Sam's line... hook, line and
II> sinker.
In case you're not familiar with him, Dr. Science is not a real doctor, and
his responses are not to be taken seriously. He's a character on a daily
syndicated radio show, said show being dedicated to humor.
II> I'm not trying to shoot you down here, Troy, it's just that I can't
II> believe as you do, so I guess we will have to agree to disagree, ok?
Just because I post something doesn't mean I agree with it. I happened to
find this entertaining, and it was related to UFOs, so I posted it here. His
answer to the question "If a man is wrong out in the woods, and no woman
hears, does he still get corrected?" was also very amusing, but not topical
to this echo.
There have been multiple cases where the government suppressed information,
covered up incidents, denied knowledge, etc. I can't believe that the
government has been completely forthcoming about UFOs when they haven't been
with information about any other subject.
... "The simplest questions are the most profound."
