I have found something strange .... well lets see if i can explain it.
Open a file in the last version of TSE
Make a few sentices
"hello world"
Use the maco option to create a key macro i usaly use the  alt q keys for 
this.
Record a macro and change world in lets say
"hello world" {enter}
"hello world" {enter}
close macro recording
so now we have a stupid macro that makes a new hello world
Well try the folowing.
Does alt q create a hello world ? ok then..
mark a block just in the text.
Write the block to a file
And now try the alq q macro and .. waht happens here is ... well the macro is 
runned with something news with it, i get the question if i want to save the 
file ... seems something is not quite ok ...i have tryed several times and i 
_can_ reproduce it ...
