We moved out of New York (city and state) when I was seven but had
family there and visited at least annually all through my childhood.
Then we lived in Wantagh on Long Island for a year when I was sixteen.
I've been in Houston since 1960 when I came here from the Texas town
where we were living to attend college, met my husband-to-be while in
school, married a few years later, and never left.  My last visit to
New York was in 1990.  I was there annually from 1986 until then for
the Westminster Dog Show in February but then job layoffs and so forth
got in the way.
