Hi to all from the shrinking shores of Lake Travis near Austin Tx.
Rumors are that our lake will go down another 10 feet during the
summer due to the lack of rain in centeral Texas.... The good news was
that I found an anchor which I had to cut away over 5 years ago along
the shore. I saw that the line was wrapped around a root about 15
feet in front of the anchor. There was no way I would have ever gotten
the anchor back, so my decision to cut the line was a good one. Did
not know it at the time though. At the time I cut the anchor line,
it was 30 feet deep in that area..... anyway on to my question...
How does one get the speedometer working again. Can one disconnect
the line to it at the gage and blow through the hose? I ask because
to get to the back of my gage is a real pain and I hesistate to even
try if this is not the solution. Or does the gage need some
lubrication? If so how?
Thanks for your help and comments
Regards Joe
... I guess I have disposable income. I sure dispose of it fast.
