OK so Chavez retaliates. We buy elsewhere and he sells elsewhere. Oil
prices spike but come down as it sorts itself out. The alternative is to
give Chavez excessive power over US policy. To be sure, prudence says we
don't court such a confrontation casually. An iranian nuke is not a casual
matter.
Remember, his government owns Citgo. Avoid filling up there.
