I dunno if you a American or not. But i can assure you that though
Russia is a changing country. And i for one applaud Gorbachev who rid Russia
of Communism. Not because i am a American. If Communism would keep Russia
s
a Super Power to show the world that they have the power to dictate what
ther
countries should do to solve their problems. That i would want Russia to
stick
with Communism. But the truth is that Communism made the Russian people
suffer
and though some not all of the Russian people are not happy to what Gorbachev
has done by giving them democracy than communism in Russia. That in the
ong
run that Russia will be a super power again and as long the Russian
overnment
work with the Russian people to make life better for everyone in that
ountry.
That i hope one day they the Russian people who are not happy to what
Gorbachev
has done would change their opinions and applaud him. Since i know for now
t
is rough for them, but, they been through so much with Communism they could
go through this since at least once things get better their lives would be
better off and filled with more happyness. Now as for the threat of nuclear
weapons in the hands of the wrong people. Sure it is a concern for everyone
in the world. But if i remember correctly the US and Russia itself are
rying
to reinforce the security to calm down the european nations that are
concerned.
