This is indeed the computer scientist in us being meticulous. Sometimes
a one-liner can be a real dog in disguise but at first it may look okay.
That .5 second boundary thing makes sense but it wouldn't be too
noticeable with delays beyond about 3 seconds. BTW is it time to buy
yourself a new keyboard, JB? I've never scene hew spiel sow bad!
