ML> Dole ain't the greatest friend we ever had, but there is no way he
ML>would be as bad as a "I don't ever have to face the voters again"
ML>Clinton.
Maybe, maybe not. Clinton may well find himself so tied up with court
litigation as to be ineffective.
But lets not forget that the president doesn't make laws. He can only
sign what _Congress_ writes and votes on. The source of those horrible
so called Clinton laws and such actually came from the home of Dole.
So will Dole be better? Dunno, he sure seems to support Clinton.
Giving Bill lots of neat laws to sign, voting in favor of Clinton's
Supreme court nominees, and giving us neat things like the Terrorist
law.
Dole is running so fast to the left these days that I think he's going
to pass Clinton, if he hasn't already done so. He's backpedaled from
the Constitution, gone anti-gun, switched to semi-pro abortion and
several other rather far left things.
So it's not that clear to me that Dole is going to be particularly any
better then Clinton.
