MP> And the studies I quoted to you are as relevant today as they were

ADHD does not have changes in the P.E.T. scans, according to the stuff I
downloaded and therefore, isn't genetic.
The genetic conditions I am aware of are alcoholism, bipolar disorder,
schizophrenia and some of the obsessions. P.E.T. scans are also being used
to diagnose several other conditions such as epilepsy.
I could dig out a paper on this from one of the Cortext lectures to make
certain, but since I have long since suggested that you find these folks and
find out for yourself what you are missing, I doubt that you would pay any
attention if it were possible to use the papers I got from them as something
to stuff into some body orifice.
MP> PET scans have shown that there are areas in the brain that are
MP> underactive and when MPH is administered, they return to the normal
 MP> level of functioning.
Strange.......they have shown that also in addictions. Do we go around
drugging everything that acts up and out or do we find out what is causing
the problems in the first place?
I'm quite certain that some alcoholics would welcome an excuse from some
shrink or mental health worker to use narcotics. The end result in
alcoholism is just that, opiates that pile up in the brain. And in this
nation today, WE DO NOT TREAT THAT DISEASE WITH MORPHINE!!!!!!!
We cannot keep kids on pills forever and expect to see them grow up and
function normally if the cause of the problem is not found and eliminated.
