Terry May said this about Eric Gregg's strike zone to All.....

Eric Gregg is one of a very few officials who is popular in Philadelphia.
He's a local guy and a great individual. I was hoping he'd get to umpire the
All-star game last year so he could get a standing-O for returning from the
home crowd.
What happened the other night was a joke. The strike out to Fred McGriff,
although I was pulling for the Marlins (see: Jim Eisenreich, Darren Daulton),
was although consistent the entire inning, a good two feet outside.
I also saw a pitch the other night (ALCS I believe) where the pitch was RIGHT
AT THE BELT AND CALLED HIGH. Last I checked, it was the letters. Hello?
