There is no Windows Server 2003 SP2.
Try IPSEC. Limited to whole server. Or WebDAV instead of SMB which
allows source IP based restrictions.

Yes, sorry, my mistake, SP1 is what I ment.
IPsec is something I looked at and is something I will implement on this
File server in near future, still, it is limited to the "whole
server" and is not quite I need for the action in the moment. IPSec
could also be extended beyond components it has today, as better
integration in AD + maybe giving CIFS extension (user, certificate, IP,
etc. Allows/Blocks ..).
I never used WebDAV. It is used through IIS ? I'll check this. Seems like
something Geo noted might be useful.
