subject: Grief Time

I originally thought it might take me a year to get over the passing
of my late wife, which will be one year, on April 27. I talked to one
of my BBS users (who lost her husband 7 years ago to cancer), and she
said that, on average, it takes at least 3 years to get over the death
of a loved one.

I haven't even started a new relationship yet, even though I'm busier
now than when I was married. But, if it's going to take 3 or more years
to get over Janice's passing, I wonder if I should even bother. There
are so many days now, that even though it has been nearly a year, it still
seems like yesterday.
