How does that work?  No income tax or other taxes, just a VAT "sales tax" in 
England?  (Sure makes *me* want to buy a scanner when I'm over there!)  With 
that kind of surcharge, it's a wonder you folks aren't hunting to buy stuff 
outside of the country...
