* EleBBS Support List

Hi erich,

Which version of Windows are you running ?
I started using this way too ... All I did differently is that my batch
starts with somewhat of a choice dialog.
Example:

1. Start EleBBS Telnet
2. Start EleBBS Wait For Call
3. ElConfig

X. Quit

Now this is nothing to special but I have this all in this one looping batch
file based on GOTO statements and Errorlevels. I do deal with only one batch
file. When I start Telnet for example it does open a new command window and
I am still able to use the batch.
I was thinking about the comment from Mike to incorporate something like the
NET2BBS telnet server and the semaphore idea to prevent people from login
into telnet during maintenance. But then it seems to me you keep adding
adding adding and when you want to add something else you have to find a new
solution. I have to play around on the weekend when I have some time ...
I read something about

I heard about NetSerial who could help us in this matter. But I am not 100%
sure about its functionality. There is a significant investment necessary
since NetSerial starts at $90 per pc.
I tried filling out the DOWNLOAD LINK REQUEST but they do not accept HOTMAIL
email accounts. That's all I have since I am paying for it 69$ a year.
So at this point I can't even try the NetSerial Application :( ...

Have a good day ..
Bert
