PK³ VM> WB| Two hours after she got here, I fell in the bathroom and WB|
PK³ VM> jammed up my spine something terrible. Slipped on the wet WB|
PK³ VM> floor! And I'd just had a shower so I didn't have on any WB|
PK³ VM> clothes at the time. Nothing like falling and hugging a WB|
PK³ VM> toilet in the nude, y'all...it's a real trip!
PK³
PK³ VM> Would you believe I've "been there, dont that?" I fell in our
PK³ VM> new shower over a year ago. I've never been in such pain in my
PK³ VM> life. Not one inch of my body was without bruses and I had swelling
PK³ VM> aches and horrible pains everywhere. I still am suffering from the
PK³ VM> fall out (pun intended). My chyropractor said that I had injuries
PK³ VM> that are normally seen in professional football players. It's no
PK³ VM> joke to fall in the shower and I REALLY sympathize (even though I
PK³ VM> can't spell it) with you.
PK³
PK³ Hmm, is this true confession time? Just after we moved into this house
PK³ last year we got a guard dog, or should I say puppy? She was an Akita
and
PK³ was 3 months old. Two days after we brought her home I went into the
bathr
PK³ here right after my 10-yo son finished taking a shower. The floor was
sopp
PK³ wet, but I didn't know that. I hit that water and down I went screaming
(i
PK³ really hurt). My DH tried to come into the bathroom to see what was
wrong
PK³ couldn't. The Akita was standing in front of the door growling, ready
to e
PK³ him for hurting me! I was in terrible pain for weeks and had to take
some
PK³ off of work because I couldn't climb into the van! Really! I drove for
th
PK³ railroad and had to climb into the van they gave me to use. I pulled my
PK³ shoulder and left hip out in the fall and couldn't climb into the van!
At
PK³ least I wasn't naked when I fell, at least not that time!
Is this pathetic or what? I guess it must be a common thing but before
I fell in the shower I'd never heard of anyone I know doing it.
I hope I NEVER do it again. It was very painful and I know I'll be
suffering from the fall for the rest of my life.
I couldn't get in my car or in bed or put my shoes on. It was horrible.
We have a shower mat in there now, but I still have slipped a few time
since then but not fallen.
Do you think we should start some kind of "tub clutz club"?
