I am new to this and I have been trying to search for my grandfather's 
relatives.  My grandfather has been deceased since 1979.  He was adopted in 
Chicago, Ill in 1909 by Sylvanius Lindsley Paul and Sara Ella (Mayfield)Paul.
I have the original adoption papers.  He was a ward of the state at the time 
of his adoption.  His guardian was the Illinois Children's Home and Aid 
Society.  His real name was Bennie Linscott, he was approximately 3 years old 
at the time of adoption.  I have recently found out that he had an older 
sister and brother.  They were not adopted but instead put in foster care due 
to negligence by the parents.  The sister was about 7 years older and the 
brother about 3 years older.  They resided in south-western Illinois.  If 
there is anyone that may possibly help me on this one I would greatly 
appreciate the time and effort.
