  I know you are not in Fido (yet) , but this email list is gated to fido.
So all the text based clients are seeing a page of html headers and then
your post. 

  Since you are using Gmail (taken from your message headers)  I went ahead
and jumped on so I could see what you needed to do. 

  When you reply to a message, directly above where you are typing there is
a button that states "<<-Plain Text" Hit that button then
hit ok. It will
change your message to plain text and people in fido will be able to read
your posts.
