She is bang on, I have helped (or hindered) many a person recovering from a
break up of their marriage, through divorce, (not quite the same) but a
loss nevertheless, to wait a minimum of two years before even thinking of
getting involved again. This allows one to heal better than rushing things.

You might want to have a coffee with your very wise BBS user and pick her
brain on how she was able to come out the other end in good shape, and do
what works for you.

Busy helps you heal if taken in moderation, as long as the motive is right,
some use it to escape their pain.

Just as long as you do not shut other people out you will be just fine and
weather this in very good shape, emotionally and mentally.
