JANE KELLEY was thinking about Help! Ideas Needed. and keyed into
cyberspace:
JK> TK> Well let's see, I graduated from a public school system, then I
JK> TK> went on to college where I graduated Magna Cum Laude (3.72
JK> TK> G.P.A.). Now I work as a Computer Systems Administrator for the
JK> TK> largest armored car company in the state of Michigan. I guess
JK> TK> none of that counts though, since I was educated in a public
JK> TK> school.
JK>By your own admission, you also went to college.
Yep. He's guilty of third degree college attendance. I am guilty of
first degree college attendance.
JK> TK> Wow, no jail time what so ever. Let's see now, people who
JK> TK> attend public schools end up in jail. That's too bad, because it
JK> TK> seems to me, that the majority of children in the United States,
JK> TK> receive public school educations, and only a small portion of
JK> TK> society ever ends up in jail.
JK>Do you know what the population in jail consists of? By measurement
JK>in this state, around 78-80% are addicts, and around 19-20% are
JK>mentally ill. That doesn't leave much room for normal people at all.
Non sequitur. Tom was pointing out that a small percentage of those who
attend public schools wind up in jail.
JK>And, the statistics further used to state that 80% of all of the
JK>beverage alcohol sold in this nation was consumed by around 20% of
JK>those here.
Hey, I enjoy a beer now and then, and a glass or two of a nice red wine
with some meals, but to accuse us of drinking that much is unwarranted!
JK>Which also agrees with the jail figures.
Can you say coincidental? No? Didn't think so.
JK>So normal kids don't end up in jail. And many of those who come from
JK>highly dysfunctional families don't end up graduating from a public
JK>school.
JK>They are the Kleenex kids who get used up and thrown away.
Hopefully deposited in the appropriate receptacle and made available for
recycling.
