The "auto-censor" on one board - I think it was an early version of
either the WB or TNT "B5" sites - went a little overboard.  In one
discussion of science fiction novels and screen adaptations we suddenly
discovered a new writer named Philip K. ****.    Then a thread
drifted into the area of classic TV comedy and I saw all these posts
about the actor **** Van **** and the show that bore his name.  
Since the censor seemed to allow "scientific" terms like "sexual
intercourse" while blocking cruder street alternatives, I decided to
try an experiment, and it worked.  The board had no trouble at all
letting me post about "The Penis Van Lesbian Show".
