In the specific instance I detailed all the bs stuff came after the
initial sale. The initial sale was effortless, it was the exchange
that was bogus. And I wouldn't have been too excited if I had had to
give some of that information in order to get a cash refund.

buying ammo...except "cash, check er charge."
There's no question that I'm of legal age, there's no reason for
anybody to ask me anything about the sale, and I've never had the
experience of being asked anything.
