Wendy, you need to check with your sysop to find out which area they want net 
mail to go to but in most cases you can just change the message headers to 
the net mail area on your board then mark the message private. And when 
addressing it you will want the node numbers for the person your sending to 
(If you were sending to me you would want the 1:138/323.8) found at the end 
of their message.
You do not have to be on line to send net mail! I have sent net mail often 
enough that if I did it on line, I would run out of time at times.
Just ask your sysop for help and they should be able to help you thru it.
