May I ask where "here" is?
Here in Sweden it's one of the warmest winters so far. We had some snow
in December but that's all. And no cold eiter, not even at nights. Now it's
6 PM and 12 F. It's SO boring to look at a green lawn and I feel sorry for
the kids. They have nowhere to play exept in the mud-puddles.
When my kids were small we had a snowdrift in the garden that was almost
2 yards high so they could build a snow-hut in it.
And then we have a law to use winter tires now, for what use?
