subject: Iran Calls For Alliance..

Hello Steve,

SA>Iran Calls for Alliance to Combat U.S. and Israel

SA>"PA"

SA>02/1705 "The Scotsman" - - Iran urged regional countries to create
SA>a powerful alliance today and remain vigilant in the face of "US and
SA>Israeli plots."

Hahahahahahahahaha! A member-state of the Axis of Evil calls on
Syria to replace Iraq to become the next victim of regime change.
What a joke! Syria is much weaker than Iraq was. Furthermore,
the regime in Syria is led by a heretical sect within a heretical
sect, having virtually no support amongst the people of Syria.
In a war with the U.S., Syria would last maybe a week. At best.
That is, if it had support from Iran. Otherwise, give Syria three
days. At most.

SA>The call came a day after Syria and Iran declared they would form a
SA>united front in the face of any threats.

The Iran/Syria alliance has become the biggest joke on the planet.

SA>The US has recently escalated its criticism of both Syria and Iran,
SA>demanding that Syria withdraw its troops from Lebanon and accusing
SA>Tehran of running a covert nuclear weapons programme.

The vast majority of the population in Iran hates the mullahs who
run the country. The vast majority of the population in Syria hates
the heretical sect of the heretical sect that runs the country.
Both populations would welcome regime change with open arms.

SA>The US has also said both countries need to do more to prevent
SA>insurgents from travelling to Iraq from their territory.

Such word games are just that. Word games. Everybody knows what
will happen once the word games end.

SA>Iran's powerful former President Hashemi Rafsanjani, speaking
SA>after meeting Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Naji al-Otari, said
SA>strengthening relations between Iran, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and
SA>other Islamic states in the region was of great importance.

Syria is running Lebanon. The U.S. is running Iraq. Iran is stuck
between a rock and a hard place, knowing U.S. troops are stationed in
both Iraq and Afghanistan, sandwiching Iran in-between. And the
Russians are not about to stop the U.S. from putting an end to the
problem in Chechnya, knowing where those Muslim terrorists are coming
from. With regime change soon to take place in both Syria and Iran,
the Chechnyan problem will cease to be a problem, as Russian troops
take over the region in full force.

SA>He said it was in the interests of their people to create a powerful
SA>alliance through close cooperation.

It gets funnier every day, as Iranian mullahs try to imitate the late
Ayatollah Khomeini. Unfortunately for the mullahs, there is no more
U.S. Embassy in Iran, meaning no more American hostages can be taken.

SA>Rafsanjani, who is widely expected to run in Iran's June presidential
SA>elections, said that the United States and Israel were trying to
SA>create divisions among the region's countries, which he said must
SA>"stay completely vigilant vis-a-vis the US and Israeli plots in this
SA>regard."

Ooh! Big threat! Whatshegonnado? Poo-poo on Bush? Mebbe he
gonna poo-poo on Sharon as well? Gosh. Bush and Sharon must be
really scared!

SA>Al-Otari said Israel was "the source of instability" in the Middle
SA>East and that Syria would continue supporting the Palestinians and
SA>Lebanese in their struggle.

Supporting the Lebanese by invading their country? Gosh. The
Lebanese must really love the Syrians. And the Palestinians must
also love the Syrians, given all the help the Syrians have shown
in building their communities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip...

SA>The relationship between the Persian Shiite Iran and Arab countries
SA>have been rocky for some time. They were strained after the Islamic
SA>revolution in Iran 1979, and relations worsened when Saddam Hussein
SA>launched his eight year war against Iran in 1980. Almost all Arab
SA>countries - with a notable exception of Syria - supported Saddam's
SA>war out of fear that Iran's revolution would spread to other countries.

It's hard to spread a revolution when the people hate the mullahs...
