Could be. It has been many a moon since I talked to this chap, but he was
real fond of the Lanc - said it saved his life more than once. Wish I could
remember the story he told of landing with two out on one side, but it has
been too many years. I did see him with a big grin on his face, sitting in
the
cockpit when the bomber was in town...
