RD> PGP is like car insurance -- when you need it, you'll really need
RD> it.
But unlike car insurance, you can go out and get PGP *after* you realize you
need it, no? You don't need to be 'paying' on it constantly for years just
for that moment when it is needed, right?
RD> I used to sign my messages, but I realized it was taking an extra

RD> unnoticeable.
Assuming the average message is 1311 bytes and the average name is 10 bytes,
that's a unnoticeable <1% increase. But if the average message is 1311 bytes
and the average PGP Sig is 338 bytes, that's a 25% increase.
