SF> Tried to open a TIF file in Word6.0a 3 Mb could not open. Tried a 16

SF> 830kb and Word could open it.Might be of interest to some.
Never had much problem with them, running 16 meg of RAM. But have
discovered that you can lower the number of bytes without compromising
the quality of the graphic by editing the actual physical size ie. 8X10
down to a 2X3, then importing it into the MS-WORD, grabbing corner handles
and adjusting to fit the project. We normally scann a 6X8 at 600 dpi,
adjust the 6X8 to a 2X1.xxxx, importing, then adjusting it out up to a 6X8
and still have the quality of the 600 DPI scann.
