CM> Chuck Harder her is on the AM radio 3 hrs a day.

Who is Chuck Harder and what is his source? (Sounds similar to a "small-town
 Rush Lim-bah.")

 CM> you've been brainwashed!

I don't think so. Check the defintion of "brainwash".
CM> I thank you, I pay my fair share.... but I dissagee and that
CM> makes me bad because people have been tricked, fooled and
CM> brainwashed into just the same lingo your using now.
Are you in jail? Have you ever been in jail?
 CM> "fair share"
CM> the fair share keeps going up and I'm getting little return .
There is nothing in a nation/state form of government that says the "return"
has to be equitable. There are lots of people that don't "contribute" a
_dime_ and "collect" a LOT. That's the way the system works. It's called
"redistribution". Some NA groups call redistribution "potlatching" some
 NA groups call redistribution "giveaway".
CM> may not be aware but laws and serivices differ for state to state.

I am fully aware of that.
CM> I'm down here] you not here.

And I'm glad I am not there.

CM> I don't want to abolish taxes just make them realistic......

The only way to do that is to cut back on the services provided by the
community. Eliminate schools, fire departments, police departments, welfare,
medical assistance, etc. and your taxes will go down. Pretty simple concept,
 huh?
CM> you confussing issues here and that's not nice.....

No, I'm not confusing issues. The "issue" here is "rules for the community".
And the "rules" are different depending on the size of the "community".
Throughout the ages personkind has had "families", "bands", "clans",
"tribes", "city-states", "nation-states", etc. The rules MUST be different
for each group depending on the size as just one of the many factors.
CM> you know what I mean like laws that say you must ware a seatbelt

You must wear a seatbelt because the representatives that were duly elected
by the majority of the voting public say so. Those representatives don't
want people hurting themselves and becoming a financial medical burden on
he
rest of the community. BTW, even if there was NO law mandating seatbelts,
ou
wouldn't ride in any vehicle I am driving without wearing a seatbelt. I
don't want the additional medical bills jacking up my insurance.
CM> etc. anti smoking in public (out doors) etc...

As far as smoking outdoors, you are free to do that virtually anywhere
someone else _isn't_. It's the fact that _other_ people might be subject to
putting up with something they _don't_ want. I can show you a LOT more
laces
you can smoke until your brain fries and your lungs melt than you can show
e
where you can't smoke. Which is the greater "freedom"?
Just like free speech. I can show a LOT more places where you can vocalize
whatever you want to vocalize, write whatever you want to write, etc. than
you can show me you can't.

CM> I voted every past election sence I frist registered , but my
CM> taxes have never went down ever not once.

And how many times has the cost of providing governmental services gone
own?
It is also apparent that you must be in the minority of voters. Otherwise,
your beliefs would be the "law of the land". And like I said before. If you
want your taxes to go down, make less and your income tax will drop. Spend
less and your sales tax will drop. Smoke less and your cigarette tax will
drop. Own less real estate and your property tax will drop. Pretty simple
 concept, huh?

BTW, my World Alamnac for 1997 shows me that the people of Tennessee pay
ell
_below_ the _average_ per capita tax. In fact, if I read the list correctly,
there are only about three other states out of fifty where the people pay
less tax per capita. No wonder you live where you do. If you moved to almost
any other state, your taxes would increase.
